March 30, 2010 --- Hello Amber Blues fans, friends and family... The last few weeks have been a lot of hard work for us, as we were finally able to work on our upcoming album, and we can officially say that we can smell its completion. Our show schedule is now starting to fill, and more show dates will be popping up as our studio schedule gets more relaxed when all recording is done.

This week will be the first 'Northeast Mini-Tour' of the year! Last year we had a few northeastern tours, hitting towns in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont, and Massachusetts. This Thursday, April 1st (no joke), we'll be hitting the road to Rhode Island, playing at The Wheel House in Narrangansett, RI. Our set starts at 9:30pm. This will be our first show in RI so spread the word to any family or friends in the area, support for us there will be much appreciated.

On Friday April 2nd, we return to The Bean and Leaf, in New London, CT... it's one of our favorite venues, and we're always very happy to come back to New London and see our friends again. It's like a home away from home for us. We'll be at The Bean and Leaf around 1pm, we'll set up and play multiple sets throughout the day. Come hang out, enjoy some Amber Blues music, and tell us how life has been! ♪

On Saturday April 17th, we'll be home again in NJ playing in East Windsor at City Streets restaurant. This will be a new venue for us, and we hope to see a lot of our friends in the Trenton/Princeton area. We'll be playing all evening, starting at 7pm. We will keep you all updated on other shows near the end of the month. Check out amberblues.com for all current info. We hope to see you soon! February 21, 2009 --- I want wish everyone a very belated happy new year, it's still in its beginning and hope the winter hasn't been too brutal on anyone. We kicked off the year with a fairly busy January. We started off at Finnigan's lounge in West Windsor on the 10th, and to a packed crowd at The Old Bay in New Brunswick on the 23rd. The winter however was a bit brutal for us on our trip to VT & CT where we had shows the last weekend in January. After some gear adventures which resulted in an interesting night of obligatory instrumental Amber Blues at the Perfect Wife in Manchester, VT, we ended up with our van off the road in a ditch. Misadventures aside, we met a lot of amazing people in Manchester and we'll definitely make our way there again to see them all again...but maybe when it's warmer and less slippery. In New London, CT, we played at The Bean & Leaf for the second time (1st being last summer) where we had another wonderful crowd and played a set full of lushy vocals in contrast to our jammy night in VT. We also stopped by at 'Eclectic' across the street and played a short set for a pumped up young crowd. We'd like to again thank everyone we met that weekend, and we'll surely be seeing you all again.

Currently we've been heavily working on completing our second studio album...we started the mixing the first batch of finished songs. Pretty soon we may have a few demo tracks available at our shows as sneak peeks of what will be on our next album. Next week we'll be very busy, playing at the Harvest Moon in our hometown of New Brunswick on Wednesday Feb. 25...on Friday the 27th we'll be at the Donegal Salon in Kearny, NJ with our good friends Turtle Soup. On Saturday we are co-hosting a heavy metal event at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park with The Darksyde, a very cool metal shop in Howell, NJ. The show will feature Morbid Visions, Luminis, exZAKKed (Black Label Society tribute) and Black Reign (Black Sabbath tribute). We'll be playing a short set of our heaviest rockin material with surprising new cover songs. The event will also feature "Dark Art," artwork displayed by local tattoo artists, airbrushers and painters. It is sure to be a good metal night!!

There are plenty of good things happening in March that we'll just have to keep for the next edition of blooze news. Have a blessed day everyone, with peace, love, light and happiness, -Tarek

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
November 18, 2008 --- Hey there Amber Blues Friends, Fans & Family, This is my first entry for the Blooze News people, so let's get it crackin'! We've been in the studio beefin' up some of our new tracks to debut on our next album (due out next spring). The tracks are tight! You guys can get a taste of the new sounds on myspace.com/amberbluesspace.

In the meantime, get ready for some AB Live baby in the city that never sleeps. We're gonna bring the noise in NYC at Sullivan Hall on Saturday, November 29th. You know I'm gonna get all my peeps at this show so there's no excuses for y'all not to show up! Line up at the door! Wednesday, December 3rd, we're back home to get up on the downstroke at the Harvest Moon Brewery in New Brunswick. Man, we're gonna funk that place up. I mean, some serious, stank nasty *ss, greezy funk too. Ugh! On December 13th we will be trying out a new venue called the Lawrence Grill located inside of the Quakerbridge Mall, Rt. 1 in Lawrenceville. Get your holiday shopping finished and come rock out with us afterward.

We had an amazing turnout at The Old Bay show on this past Saturday. Thank you to all our friends and fans! We rocked the Bay, and we were cheered on for 3 encores.

On another note, contrary to the rumors, people have been saying that I'm leaving the band. As long as gas stays cheap, this cat ain't going nowhere... Payce. -LaMar

September 10, 2008 --- Hello Amber Blues friends, fans, family, etc... I'll be in Egypt for much of September. I'm here at the moment, enjoying the company of my family and my best friends at home. Weather's good here, and I've been eating guavas, pomegranates, and mangos...you know, the best fruit in the world in addition to my mom's food. Life's gonna be good for a couple of weeks before I return all fresh and inspired for musical goodness with Amber Blues. Hope everyone's having a good start in school (if you're in school) and looking forward to a beautiful fall. -Tarek

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
September 5, 2008 --- Greetings and Salutations Amber Blues friends, fans, and family! Dave here with the AB Blooze News Summer Recap! First and Foremost, I hope all is well with everyone and that everyone had an exciting and happening summer like us! For those of you who made it out to any of our shows this summer, thank you so much for all of your love and support!

This summer was an exciting and eventful one for us. We played up and down the East Coast and made some wonderful new friends along the way! We had a huge success with all of our charity shows this summer, Anthem of the Arts in Waverly, NY was wonderful, The Valerie Fund Walk-A-Thon in Verona Park, NJ, our benefit for Project NOAH at The Milltown Ice Cream Depot in Milltown, NJ, and we capped it all off with our annual Groovin’ 4 Goodwill event at the legendary Stone Pony. This year’s beneficiary for GFGW was an organization called Drums and Disabilities, which we are extremely happy to be working with because they do work that hits very close to home for a couple of our band members. They provide music therapy for children and adults with learning disabilities such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Tourettes Syndrome, and many others. We will be working with them a lot in the future so please check them out www.DadProgram.org! All said and done, with your help we were able contribute sizable donations for each of the charities and organizations this summer! So once again thank you for all you love and support, we could not have done it without you!

On another note, we all would like to wish Tarek a safe and wonderful trip as he leaves for his annual visit to Egypt to see his family. He will be spending the majority of the month celebrating Ramadan in Cairo with his family and friends and will be returning just in time for our big show on Saturday, September 27th at The Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ. This show is going to be Amber Blues’ biggest and most important show to date! We will be the only opening act for The Machine, the country’s premier Pink Floyd tribute band! We will need everyone’s support for this one as we have a huge number of tickets to sell to meet our presale requirement for this show. The tickets are $16.00 each if you buy them from any band member, versus $20.00 from Ticketmaster or the Starland box office. So please contact any of us if you need tickets. We will also be running some exclusive promotional deals on the tickets to save you and your friends even more money! Visit us at www.amberblues.net, or www.myspace.com/amberbluesspace for more information. If we meet our requirement it will open up a lot more opportunities for us with both The Starland Ballroom and Live Nation. We hope to see you all there!

Last but not least I’d like to announce that our .com will soon be up and running again. We apologize for any problems or inconveniences that it may have caused early in the summer with some of your personal websites and myspace pages. But after 3 months of struggling with our webhost to regain control of amberblues.com it will hopefully be up within a few days. For those of you who have been going to amberblues.net, we thank you for keeping current with us and we will be keeping both websites once the .com is back up.

That is all for now, keep checking back with us frequently as Danni, our wonderful manager, is currently working on filling our fall tour schedule. As of yet we’ve got the Starland show on 9/27, Orphan Annie’s in Stirling, NJ on 10/8 and a show at The Old Bay in New Brunswick on 11/14. Hopefully we will be revisiting some of our new friends in NY, CT, PA, NC and NH. We’ve got a lot in store for the fall, so keep your eyes peeled on both of our websites and our myspace for the latest and greatest in Blooze News! In the meantime we will continue working diligently in the studio on our new album which we hope to release early next year. Peace, Love, and Light, -Dave

May 6, 2008 --- Hello Amber Blues fans, family, and friends, We're feeling good and getting ready for a very rockin' May starting this week. Last Saturday we went up to upstate New York to Waverly where we were greeted by beautiful people who really made the long trip worth it. We had a wonderful crowd and we'll be definitely going up there again this summer.

This week we have 3 shows, 2 of which are new venues for us. We'll be starting off in Asbury Park, playing at The Saint with The Atmosferics again on Wednesday the 7th. On Friday the 9th we'll be in Ewing, NJ at The All Call Inn...which will be a chance for us to see faces from the Trenton area.  We're very excited about our show on Thursday the 8th, where we'll be in New York City, at Sullivan Hall (known as the Lion's Den) in the Village. It's a very important show for us, and we're setting up rides to the City and back for our NJ fans to make easy to join us in going to the show. The trip will be $10 to help out in gas and parking for our friend drivers, and the show is $10 at the door. A good turnout at that show will be a big boost to our presence in the Big Apple.

To wrap up the month we've got a show on Saturday, May 31st at The Juggling Gypsy in Wilmington, NC.  We are also trying to secure another show in Wilmington or perhaps Boone, NC on Friday, May 30th.  This will be AB's first excursion down South and it's sure to prove to be interesting and fun!  We've been working on many new ideas, and we've got a lot of craziness happening this summer so keep checking our website and myspace often for updates and show additions! Hope to see you all real soon rockin' out at an AB show near you! Peace, love, light and unity to everyone, -Tarek & Dave

Mar. 14, 2008 --- Hello Amber Blues Peoples, We wanted to announce the first Amber Blues poll on amberblues.com. We'd like everyone to help us out and participate. The poll this month is "What is your favorite AB song?". You'll find the poll at the middle left of our home page, in a green box titled March's poll. There's a drop down list of AB songs including ones we haven't played in a long time, as well as new songs we premiered at our CD release show. This will help us see which songs are the crowd favorites and tell us if we need to revive some of our older material for live shows soon. So go to amberblues.com and let us know what you think. We hope to make the polls a regular thing each month, so we can get as much feedback as possible from everyone.

Before I go, just a reminder that we'll be at The Old Bay in New Brunswick this Sunday the 16th (free show!), at The Saint in Asbury Park next Thursday the 20th with the Atmosferics and Turtle Soup, and at The Hills Tavern in Lenox, Mass. on Friday the 21st with the Bad Apples...it's gonna be a very interesting week for sure. Mar. 1, 2008 --- Hello Amber Blues friends, family, and fans, February was quiet on the outside since we had no shows booked for the month. We started making demos of our new songs to see how they sound, worked a little on some of our old ones, and tried different things. However, we're back to playing live heavily again in March. We got 5 shows booked this month, reaching out to different parts of Jersey we've never been to and going up to Massachusetts for the first time.

We're starting this Sunday at Matawan Ave. Middle School in Cliffwood, NJ. It's a benefit show, where there will be canned food/clothing drives. It is presented by members of the Girl Scout troop of Matawan, and we'll be playing with our friends Hartwell, Lunar Electric, and Bad Apples. There will be other performances by high school students as well. On the 16th, we'll be playing our first Sunday night (and also St. Patty's Day - Eve) at the Old Bay in New Brunswick (free show!), which is always a lot of fun.... and that will be the beginning of a crazy week! We play at The Saint in Asbury Park on Thursday the 20th, and then we'll be driving up on Friday the 21st to Lenox, Mass. with Bad Apples to play at The Hills Tavern. We'll end the month in a another new venue in Morristown, NJ at Cafe Arabica. So there's lots of shows this month, and as usual lots of surprises and new material to look out for.

In case you haven't been there in a while, we have a totally new look to amberblues.com. The website is renewed with new features, lots of nice new photos (you may find yourself there if you came to our shows), music, new wallpapers, and just overall goodness. You'll find details for all our upcoming shows there, so check out our calendar and come out if we're near you. We'll be bringing out our new merch and CDs to all our shows. We're currently working on getting our albums and merch sold online to be available easily for everyone, anywhere. It's exciting times, and we're planning shows in upstate NY, NC and returning to NH again in the spring. There's more in the works too as we recently finished our press kit and we're sending it out to new venues, so check out amberblues.com regularly for updates and new bookings. In the end we want to thank all our supporters and lovely fans, and hope to see you all soon. Peace, love, light and happiness to everyone, -Tarek

P.S.: I love you

Jan. 16, 2008 --- Hello Amber Blues family, friends and fans,
We'd first like to thank everyone who made it to the CD release party on the 5th of this month. The turn out was really amazing, and the support we got was overwhelming. We can't thank you all enough for being there. We also want to thank all the participating bands that night that really made it worthwhile to hang out at the pony from as early as 7 p.m until 1:30 a.m. Bob Denson, Lunar Electric, Newbru, Chemical Swing (feat. Bernie Worrell, which was quite a treat!!), Hartwell and Jazz vs. The Space Tiger all did an excellent job in entertaining the crowd to the fullest. Not to mention our friends Murdock & Johny from 90.3 FM radio, "The Core," who did commentary on the compilation CD, Patchwork, and introduced bands, hosted AB trivia, and announced our raffle winners. We can't thank them enough!! It was a celebration to remember. We got good response towards our new merchandise... Keep rockin' those Amber Blues' shirts!!

All we hope now is that the album was worth the long wait. So sign our guestbook at www.amberblues.com, and let us know what you think of the album and what your favorite songs are. We greatly appreciate feedback and constructive criticism and we're actually hoping to get some reviews. We're wrapping up the group of shows this month on Saturday the 19th at Finnigan's Lounge on Rt. 130 in East Windsor with Jazz vs. The Space Tiger; which is sure to a lot of fun!! Saturday will be our third consecutive show with the space creature fighting jazz band. We've also started planning ahead and putting together ideas and listing songs for our next album.

Before I go, I also want to thank the big group of people who came out to the Old Bay in New Brunswick last Saturday, it was a lot of fun and turned out to be one the biggest turnouts we've had in New Brunswick to date. So, another big thank you to all the people who made it there...and keep coming back! Peace, Love, Light and Happiness to you all, -Tarek

We in Amber Blues are proud to announce that our first studio album is finally complete. We actually have copies that we're listening to these days..YAAAY!! It took a really long time, with many many hours of tedious mixing and recording and rerecording and remixing...etc, and we finally have the full album. We are almost done creating the album sleeve, artwork, and doing all the final touches to release the album. The album is titled "A Year and Some Days", and as you can imagine we're really excited. Our CD release will be on January 5th, 2008, at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. We've been meeting with all the participating bands, and artists to get everything together. We're really excited to be playing with all these great bands that agreed to celebrate our album release with us. James "J-Pat" Dalton, Hartwell, Newbru, Chemical Swing, Lunar Electric, and Jazz vs. the Space Tiger will all be joining us for the event. We've also been rehearsing with some guests to spice up our set a little more than usual. So expect a few surprises from us. We'll be having some cool new merch for all of you, including some Amber Blues winter gear. Everyone here's been busy getting all their usual holiday things together in addition to the work we're doing towards the show.

As for the band, we've been working on a number of new tunes we're planning to premiere gradually into our set lists. We've been surviving well as a 5 piece, and it will be worth it for our old fans to come and check us out in our new simpler version of the band without Seth. We had a couple of warm up shows in December.... Last Friday the 14th at the Crossroads--it was great to perform with The Atmosferics and Jazz vs. the Space Tiger. We also had a show on 12/8 at Marita's Cantina in New Brunswick with our friend James "J-Pat" Dalton, which was a lot of fun.

In the end we'd like to wish you all happy holidays (Hanukkah/ Eid ElAdha/ Christmas/ Kwanzaa), and we hope to see you all soon. Peace, Love, Light and Happiness to you all! -Tarek

--- Hello Amber blues fans, friends and family,
Even though we were in the shadows most of September, it was one our busiest and actually most productive months. We spent a lot of time cutting final vocal and guitar tracks and doing final mixes for the remaining tracks on the album; and it's actually very close to completion (serious this time). We're still looking for a title and already started reviewing artwork ideas. On Saturday the 22nd we played at the Old Bay in New Brunswick to a packed crowd, where we said farewell to Seth. We had a GREAT time, and we'd like to thank our friends Hartwell and everyone who came to cheer us up as we were sadly saying goodbye to Seth's days in Amber Blues. It was really a great turnout and appreciate the love. Oh we'll miss Seth.

We have officially become a 5 piece, Jimmy will be handling all the guitar work. We've been spending a lot of time re-arranging our older songs to fit the new formation, and have been actively writing very exciting new songs. We're looking into finishing the album tracks in October. We'll be back in live action near the end of the month in New Brunswick. We're really excited to be playing "Rock the Vote" in Rutgers, New Brunswick on the 26th. We'll also show up at the Harvest Moon on the 28th to cap the month. We'll be a different formation by then, so expect our old songs to sound different and possibly a new song or two. Hope to see you all soon, Peace, Love, Light and Happiness to you all.

(Third time's a charm... The rain didn't stop usthis time!!) Our second show this month is Phanphest's Battle of the Bands TONIGHT (Wed., June 6) at The Saint, Asbury Park, NJ. We wish him a safe trip and anticipate his return. Our friend Brian will be filling in on drums for this show, some of you may recognize him from our Tent State show (4/21). We've got a lot of crazy surprises for everyone tonight, it's sure to be an Amber Blues experience unlike any you've ever seen. The show will include a very unique performance as well as some "special guests", we're pullin out all the stops for this one, hope to see you all there to support! The remainder of June will be spent in the studio mixing and fixing tracks for our album and then we'll be back in July with some big shows!

Mar. 6, 2007 --- Happy spring AB fans! March has certainly rolled in smoothly for Amber Blues... we started off the month this past Saturday with a fantastic show at Marita’s Cantina in New Brunswick, with our good friends Chemical Swing! Some other highlights for March include AB’s first show tomorrow night at The Whiskey Bar in Hoboken, as well as the first round of Jersey Show’s Battle of the Bands at The Court Tavern in New Brunswick. The month ends with a Tuesday night performance at The 449 Room in Trenton with MoBro (The Morrison Brothers), who have also been a really great ally for us. Feb. 7, 2007 --- Hey out there AB fans... Another glorious month has come and gone. With January over and out of the way the band is gearing up for February, and what a busy month it will be! This month Amber Blues will be back in The Jam Room Studio recording the final four tracks of their long awaited debut album. We are expecting a late spring early summer release once all the mastering and duplication has been done. This past Sunday, we began our duo February New Brunswick appearance at The Harvest Moon Brewery. Our next Newbie show will be this Saturday, Feb. 10th at The Old Bay (Church St.). This will be the band’s first time appearing at The Old Bay but surely not their last! The third week of February will quiet down for thee band--LaMar will be in Vegas with his new NBA job, and Dave will be up on a mountain somewhere shredding some snow! This month ends with a show at Siberia in NYC on Saturday, Feb. 24th. This is sure to be a great show, as each NY show has been getting better and better. Yay!! Thanks for rockin’ out at shows, and we’ll see you all soon.

Jan. 17, 2007 --- Happy New Year AB fans! 2007 is off to a ripping start. We hosted our first charity show--Groovin’ for Goodwill--on Jan. 5th and it was a huge success! Over $1,200 was raised (between five bands) to benefit The Valerie Fund and The Boys and Girls Club of Asbury Park. We would like to thank everyone involved and hope that future events will be just as successful. And a special thank you to the bands that played with us: Chemical Swing, The Morrison Brothers (MOBRO), Almost There, and Tito & the Junkyard Band. The rest of the month is relatively calm in comparison. We played at The Rusty Nail in North Brunswick this past weekend. Coming up tomorrow we’ll be in NYC at The Mean Fiddler. Our last NY show was a huge success and we hope this one will be bigger.
